Life brings many challenges and sometimes it can leave us feeling discouraged and even stuck. Some experiences may have been completely out of our control and it can make us think we are helpless and unable to be in control again. I help my clients explore their inner strengths, challenge those negative thoughts about themselves and equip them to gain control over their lives.

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who specializes in helping teens, females, and families who struggle with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem and the impact of trauma. I am also a registered Art Therapist which allows me to utilize creative ways to help individuals express their thoughts and feelings when the words are not always available.

I am EMDR trained, another modality that helps the brains capacity to process and heal those troubling memories that continue to impact your mind.

My approach to therapy is to ensure trust and safety for my clients as well as validating and empowering them through the therapeutic relationship. I believe in resourcing my clients with healthy and sustainable strategies to help them as they navigate through their healing process during and outside of treatment. I work from an Attachment Focused and Trauma Informed lens to help my clients heal from childhood traumas that may continue to impact their functioning and beliefs of themselves.

I believe in providing quality care, a safe and non-judgmental space for individuals who have made the decision to invest in their emotional well-being. It is possible to live a fulfilling life, one that brings you joy and the ability to address those challenges in a more positive way!

Let me help you get there.

Other than being a therapist, I truly enjoy creating (painting, baking, scrapbooking, event and home décor). Traveling and immersing myself in the language, food, meeting people and learning about their cultural perspective has been a long-time passion of mine. I love and actively participate in physical fitness and sports for my own self-care. Hosting friends and family at home brings me so much joy and allows me to continue to serve in a different way.
