Mindfulness – A Grounding Exercise for Reconnection

Ashleigh Sorenson, LMFT walks us through a mindfulness grounding exercise to help reconnect to our bodies during this scary, unstable, and ever-changing time.

How are you doing? Join us as we connect to our five senses (sight, sound, taste, smell, and touch) as a way to stay present and increase mindfulness surrounding what we’re experiencing in our bodies.

This is a practice you can do anywhere, any time. You can do all five senses or choose one. If you can, you’re invited to track any sensations, thoughts, or feelings you notice as you tune in to your senses. This is all information for more embodiment and presence.

If you are needing to schedule a therapy appointment for assistance with Trauma or Anxiety, please Contact us.
